Co-founder Rafael Niesten has headed to Singapore as part of the government’s landing pads program. Landing Pads are an initiative of the Australian Government’s National Innovation and Science Agenda to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship.
Over the next three months he will have exclusive access to coaching, investors, customers, training opportunities, tailored networking events and state-of-the-art facilities to research and customise the platform for the needs of ASEAN clients.
The Singapore Landing Pad is located at Just Co, Singapore’s largest integrated startup space and is positioned in the centre of the Singapore startup ecosystem. When asked about his experience he said:
‘I have been fortunate enough to spend time in the Singapore Landing Pad and the level of interest in The Bricks + Agent platform from has been significant. The Austrade team have sizable and significant connections across the region and have been very forthcoming in providing qualified opportunities to assist our growth across ASEAN.’.
The key purpose of the program is to assist Australian businesses export into overseas markets which is great for Australian startups who sometimes get stuck in small ANZ markets.
“Startups grow 2.5 times faster if they are born global” – Dr Stephanie Fahey, Chief Executive at Austrade
‘This marks the start of our journey to bring Bricks + Agent to the broader ASEAN market and help the property industry work smarter, not harder and deliver more exceptional client experiences’.
Stay tuned to find out what he got from the Austrade-supported program and why he thinks it’s overlooked by Australian startups.
